Tribal Wisdom Academy

Tribal Wisdom Academy offers Graduate Camp for children turning age 7, Big Kid Adventure Maker Camp for children turning ages 8 to 10 during 2026, Alumni Village for children turning age 11 or 12 in 2026 who attended the TWA Camp in 2024 or 2025, Boy's Tribe for ages 13 and up, and Tribal Rangers for ages 13 and up. Boy's Tribe is mainly available during Weeks #3, 5, 7, and 9, with adventure skills from 11am to 2pm, and Tribal Rangers is available during any 2026 camp week.

Tribal Wisdom Academy says this is its 12th Summer. The program is locally designed by Ben Walker, and the leadership team includes Ben Walker and Claire Liu as co-owners. The mission statement says TWA nurtures authentic social-emotional intelligence and inspires exploration of traditional life skills. Staff are vetted with Child Safe Training, extensive reference checks, California Department of Justice LiveScan Fingerprinting, and national F.B.I. background checks, and Adult Mentors staff the camp at an 8-to-1 ratio.
