St. Mark’s was formed in 1926 and has served the Santa Ynez Valley at its present downtown Los Olivos location since 1979. The leadership team includes Brittany Ramirez, Director of Preschool; Marina Sanchez, Teacher; Rector Rev. Andrew Rutledge; Business Manager Marianne Thorburn; Publishers Freda Iverson and Samantha Stalling; Director of Music and Organist Beverly Staples; and Director of Vocal Music Nichole Dechaine. St. Mark’s also serves as a no-fee community center for nonprofit groups and community meetings, an arts venue for musical and cultural events, and a welcome center for residents and area visitors.
