AYSO Region 1288 Lynwood Youth Soccer offers youth soccer for children through world class youth soccer programs. The program focuses on youth soccer activities as part of AYSO's national structure.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
AYSO is a national non-profit soccer organization that is volunteer-based and child focused. AYSO's Vision is to provide world class youth soccer programs that enrich children’s lives. AYSO's Mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on AYSO's Six Philosophies: Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, and Player Development. Lynwood AYSO strives to deliver a quality youth soccer program which promotes a fun, family environment. The program's goal is for kids to play soccer, so every player on every team must play at least 50% of every game. Each year the region forms new teams as evenly balanced as possible. The program is open to all children between 3 and 19 years of age who want to register and play soccer, with no elimination try-outs and nobody cut. AYSO requires coaches to create a positive experience for every boy and girl, and the program is designed to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of AYSO. The region states that all players should be able to develop their soccer skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities.
AYSO just celebrated its 50th Anniversary, and Region 1288 has represented the Lynwood community for over 15 years. Region 1288 has proudly represented the Lynwood community for over 15 years.
