Lynwood Unified Early Childhood Education offers play-based activities, hands-on learning, and nurturing classrooms for young children. The program includes a focus on literacy, math, and social-emotional growth through engaging, high-quality preschool experiences. Each class is supported by caring teachers and staff who work with families through meaningful family engagement and family-focused support.

Lynwood Unified Early Childhood Education includes two Early Childhood Education Centers, with three classes at each site. Each class has 24 students and three staff members, including one teacher and two assistants, for an 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio. The program’s mission states that it supports the whole child by fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning, and that it partners with families to help every child thrive from the very start. The district recognizes classified employees of the year for their dedication to student success, and the program partners with families to create a strong foundation for academic and personal growth.
