Camp Fire Heart of California Camps include Camp Adahi, a resident camp offered to members who have completed third through eighth grade, and Camp Eluta, a day camp for campers from preschool through third grade. Camp Eluta runs for one week each year at a local school in Madera, and Camp Adahi is held in July at camp grounds in the Sierra National Forest, just north of Bass Lake, CA.

Camp Fire Heart of California has been an innovative leader in youth development since 1918. Its mission states that young people want to shape the world, and that Camp Fire provides the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are, beginning now in Camp Fire. Camp Fire Heart of California has an official Inclusion Policy and a long-time commitment to diversity. The organization uses a research-based program framework called Thrive{ology}, which is founded on the pillars of Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and staff are referred to as “Spark Champions.” In 2024, Camp Fire Heart of California reported serving 228 youth in the club program, working with 65 adult volunteers, recognizing 5 Wohelo recipients, and hosting 85 campers at Camp Adahi.
