Madera County 4-H Camp at Camp Keola

Madera County 4-H Camp at Camp Keola is part of the 4-H Youth Development program, which uses learn by doing activities, youth-adult partnerships, and research-based education programs. The camp focuses on responsibility and leadership development and follows the 4-H Motto, “To make the best better.” The program uses the 4-H Pledge and the four-leaf clover 4-H Emblem, with each “H” standing for Head, Heart, Hands, and Health.

• Schedule: June 16–20, 2026 (Counselors arrive June 15, 2026)
• Price: ALL Camp Fees DUE by May 7, 2026

The purpose of 4-H Youth Development is to help diverse young people discover and develop their potential and grow into competent, contributing, and caring citizens. 4-H Youth Development is a nonformal educational youth program conducted by the University of California Cooperative Extension. Programs are designed to meet the needs and interest of youth 9 to 19 years of age, and learn by doing activities, youth-adult partnerships, and research-based education programs are used to help young people enhance their leadership abilities and develop a wide range of other life skills.
