About

Madera County 4-H Camp at Camp Keola is part of the 4-H Youth Development program. It uses learn by doing activities, youth-adult partnerships, and research-based education programs to help young people enhance their leadership abilities and develop a wide range of other life skills. The camp focuses on responsibility and leadership development within the broader 4-H Youth Development framework.

• Ages: 9–18 years old
• Schedule: June 16–20, 2026 (Counselors arrive June 15, 2026)
• Price: All camp fees due by May 7, 2026

The purpose of 4-H Youth Development is to help diverse young people discover and develop their potential and grow into competent, contributing, and caring citizens. 4-H Youth Development is a nonformal educational youth program conducted by the University of California Cooperative Extension. Programs are designed to meet the needs and interest of youth 9 to 19 years of age. The leadership team includes Haramrit Gill, Environmental Horticulture Advisor for Tulare, Kings, Fresno, and Madera Counties.
