Aloha Beach Camp was founded in 1999 and is led by Camp Director and Owner Eric Naftulin. The program focuses on ocean safety, confidence-building, and nonstop fun through beach and water-sports activities. It offers three age-appropriate camp programs: Keiki Camp for ages 4–6 with a gentle introduction to the beach, sand play, and safe ocean fun; Kahuna Camp for ages 7–10 with surfing, boogie boarding, and team beach activities; and Nalu Camp for ages 11–14 with advanced surfing, ocean adventure challenges, and leadership opportunities for older campers. The camp is licensed, permitted, and accredited, and is described as Los Angeles’s only ACA-accredited beach day camp. The staff includes trained lifeguard counselors, and professional counselors, directors, and lifeguards who are described as ocean experts and role models. The camp serves families from Santa Monica, Malibu, Calabasas, Encino, Agoura, Thousand Oaks, Studio City and beyond with free, fully supervised bus transportation from dozens of pickup spots across Los Angeles and flexible day-by-day enrollment with no sessions, no minimums, and no rigid dates. The program also offers a Hawaii Sleepaway Camp Trip on the North Shore of O‘ahu for surfing, snorkeling, and island activities and includes a money-back guarantee for families.
