Young Marines

Young Marines is a national youth program that includes team-building adventures that test courage and National Leadership Schools that challenge participants to grow. The program also includes healthy living and drug-free initiatives, mentorship from peers and role models, service projects, and events and trips that support friendships that feel like family.

• Ages: 8–18 years old

The mission of the Young Marines is to serve as a national youth program for ages eight through high school graduation. Community involvement includes honoring veterans, cleaning parks, and helping the community in ways that are described as making a difference that counts. The program states that it empowers youth to choose a lifestyle that promotes mental strength and emotional stability and that participants develop leadership traits that build strength, self-discipline, a high moral code, and an understanding of how to lead others.
