Kepler's Literary Foundation Youth Programs include activities such as a Teen Novel Writing Workshop, a Teen Novel Writing Camp, a personal essay writing workshop, a non-fiction book club, and the Deep Cuts Book Club. The programs also include literary and cultural programs that bring writers into local schools and promote literary and creative writing initiatives.

• Schedule: Pivotal Moments: A Personal Writing Workshop is a four-part intensive course in personal essay writing with sessions from 4:00 to 6:00 on four consecutive Wednesdays.
Kepler’s Literary Foundation enriches the community through literary and cultural programs that foster creative thinking and explore new ideas, and it provides a forum for notable writers, artists, and original thinkers to engage with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Its nationally recognized programs bring writers into local schools and promote literary and creative writing initiatives, and the organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization. Shannon Messenger graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the middle grade series Keeper of the Lost Cities and the Sky Fall series for young adults. Lisa Moore Ramée is the author of A Good Kind of Trouble and Something to Say. Pria Anand is described by the Times Literary Supplement as “Oliver Sacks’ most obvious heir,” and Andrew Sean Greer is a Pulitzer Prize–winning author.
For the Shannon Messenger event, all attendees ages 5 and older must present a vaccination card, a photo of the card, or a digital vaccine record with matching photo ID, and a first booster is required for eligible attendees ages 18 and older. Masks are required for everyone over the age of 2 years old at this event and must be worn at all times in the venue and throughout the duration of the event, and capacity is limited, with the option to move to a virtual event if it is deemed unsafe to gather in person.
