Performing Arts Academy of Marin (PAAM Arts)

Performing Arts Academy of Marin (PAAM Arts) offers school year programs in theater and dance with in-person classes. It also offers the Jr and Mainstage series, summer camps, summer intensives, BAYPAC Dance Company, BAYPAC full intensive training program (ITP), Pre-Company, BAYPAC Rising, PAAM Squad, and Conservatory.

• Pre-Company — ages 5 - 7 · Designed for dancers ages 5 - 7.
• BAYPAC Rising — Designed for dancers who want the company experience with less weekly commitments.
• PAAM Squad — ages 7 - 12 · Weekly class and rehearsal · Noncompetitive performance team.
• Conservatory — high school dancers · Two days per week plus select weekends · Advanced training program.

About the provider

PAAM's mission is to equip young artists with well-rounded, whole-person dance and theater arts training and the confidence to take on whatever path they choose. The leadership team includes Aushi Oskarsdottir, Director of Conservatory. PAAM's annual community event is free and is held on Saturday, October 24th from 3-5pm. Annual performances include the Holiday Spectacular and Spring Showcase in San Francisco, and PAAM Squad performs at local PAAM events including Pumpkin Bash, Holiday Show, and Spring showcase.

PAAM Squad is noncompetitive. BAYPAC participation is by audition and/or application only. The Conservatory includes 4 industry-based workshops. Styles include Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre, and Acro.
