• Ages: 5–16 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday programs with full-day and half-day options; sessions run in 1-week, 2-week, 4-week (Double Camp Session), and 6-week (Ultimate Experience) formats
• Price: Signature Broadway Camp sessions cost $1,695 per 2-week session; Double Camp Session (4 weeks) costs $3,315; Ultimate Experience (6 weeks) costs $4,935; Future Broadway Stars Junior Broadway Camp (1 week) costs $465
N.Y. Broadway Training Programs offers a Signature Broadway Camp where each session presents a different musical, and campers may enroll in more than one session. All levels are welcome and are placed according to age and ability, with performance auditions for the Signature Broadway Camp taking place on the first day. The daily structure includes a morning training program and afternoon rehearsals and activities in preparation for a summer Broadway performance, with a performance on the second Friday of camp at 2 p.m. Certain sessions offer a free bus to and from camp and a hot lunch option, noted as available during the second week of Session B and during Session C. Families can register for multiple sessions for special savings, and the Future Broadway Stars Junior Broadway Camp is a half-day program for kindergarten and 1st grade only.
All classes are taught by NYC Broadway professionals, described as Broadway professionals, NYC professionals, and the “Who’s Who’s” of Broadway. Participants receive a comprehensive understanding of making it on Broadway and beyond from a panel of Broadway professionals. The leadership team includes Marissa Joy Ganz. The program is in its 10th season.
The stated mission is to serve children and teens who have a passion for the performing arts and want to take it to the next level in a professional, fun, caring, and nurturing environment, with a focus on training and performance. The mission also states that this is not just a “triple-threat” program but an all-encompassing performing arts experience that aims to ignite a theatrical spark in new beginners and challenge advanced students and aspiring professionals to grow.
A parent testimonial states, “I haven’t seen my son stoked about anything until Broadway Camp. I nudged him towards your program.”
