CreativeCave is a Design Thinking Studio for school age kids and offers classes that empower kids to prototype their imaginative ideas. It is described as a fun, safe and supportive place where kids can go to develop their full creative potential through the mix of art, technology and project based learning. The program provides an environment for invention and innovation as a space to create, collaborate, explore, test, experiment, and invent, and it encourages creative opportunities by providing a collaborative space, tools, assistance, and many layers of support for each of the student projects and ideas. Through its design thinking methodology, students dream about possibilities, find creative solutions and solve complex problems through creativity and design, and CreativeCave is described as a place for future innovators to dream up and change the world.

CreativeCave was born as an innovation and design thinking project at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Classes are kept small with a 6 to 1 student to teacher ratio. CreativeCave works with industry professionals from major studios in the development of its curriculum, and some of these professionals are mentors and teachers at the studio.

CreativeCave’s passionate teachers are all MFAs from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
