Performing Arts Academy of Marin

Performing Arts Academy of Marin offers BAYPAC, Pre-Company, BAYPAC Rising, PAAM Squad, Conservatory, Summer Camps, Summer Intensives, and After Camp Club. The program includes ballet, jazz, and contemporary technique, choreography, performance, weekly class and rehearsal, structured activities, intentional downtime, crafts, choice time, snack time, movement classes, and acting activities.

Programs

• BAYPAC — Accepted students ages 5 & up · Year-round; school year (September - June); train two days per week plus select weekends · PAAM’s year-round program offering comprehensive training; participation is by audition and/or application only.
• Pre-Company — Dancers ages 5 - 7 · Brand new program under BAYPAC Technical Company.
• BAYPAC Rising — Brand new program under BAYPAC Technical Company for dancers who want the company experience with less weekly commitments.
• PAAM Squad — Dancers ages 7 - 12 · Weekly class and rehearsal · Noncompetitive performance team.
• Conservatory — High school dancers · Two days per week plus select weekends · Advanced training program focused on ballet, jazz, and contemporary technique, choreography, and performance.
• Summer Camps — During the summer months · Recreational camps appropriate and enriching for all.
• Summer Intensives — During the summer months · Designed for students looking for challenges and continued training.

About the provider

The mission of Performing Arts Academy of Marin is to equip young artists with well-rounded, whole-person dance and theater arts training and the confidence to take on whatever path they choose. The Director of Conservatory is Aushi Oskarsdottir. PAAM Squad performs at local PAAM events, including Pumpkin Bash, Holiday Show, and Spring showcase. BAYPAC Dance Company competes throughout the year at regional competitions and takes part in annual PAAM performances like the Holiday Spectacular and Spring Showcase in San Francisco.

• After Camp Club — Students ages 4 - 12 · 3:00 - 5:00pm each day · Aftercare with structured activities, intentional downtime, crafts, choice time, snack time, movement classes, and acting activities.

BAYPAC participation is by audition and/or application only. After Camp Club requires advanced sign up. Final pick up is at 5:00pm sharp. Students not picked up by 5:00 PM will be charged $1 for each minute past 5:00 PM. Camp refund and change requests must be made in writing and emailed to [email protected]. No refunds will be granted after 5:00pm the Friday before the camp session begins.
