Marin Theatre Company, founded in 1966, runs Week-Long Workshops for Young People as part of its work as a dynamic hub that creates theater and unique artistic experiences to entertain and educate the people of Marin, the Bay Area, and beyond. Marin Theatre is a home for brave and thoughtfully curated professional theater, art and events in the San Francisco Bay Area and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Marin Theatre acknowledges that its theatre and administrative offices are located on the ancestral, occupied, and unceded land of the Coast Miwok peoples. The organization states a commitment to learning and to strengthening relationships with members of the local community, to working towards dismantling the harmful effects of white supremacy and colonization, and to building relationships with sovereign tribal nations and ongoing learning so that Marin Theatre Company becomes a more inclusive and welcoming space.
