PLAY Theatre Company Youth Programs focuses on rehearsing together as a team to tell a story with song, dance, acting, and creativity. Participants also spend time creating a prop and creating part of the set as part of putting together a fully produced one-hour musical over the course of 10–12 weeks.
• Ages: 7–14 years old
• Schedule: 10–12 week sessions, generally meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00–5:00 pm
• Price: Cost: $575; Deposit of $150 and payment plan available; Full tuition is due by the first day of class
PLAY Theatre Company Youth Programs is a nonprofit performing arts organization focused on bringing the joy of theater to life for children and families. The program’s mission is to ignite imagination, creativity and empathy, for the young and young at heart, through the power of theater. Every actor who enrolls will be cast in the show. The organization offers complimentary pick up for students at Tam Valley Elementary at 2:40 pm and walks students over to the Community Center, with parent drop-off and 5:00 pm pick up also available at the Community Center. PLAY Theatre Company offers generous scholarships, $5 tickets for low income families, free tickets for foster kids and their foster families, and field trips for Title 1 schools. The organization was founded in October of 2023 by Annie Clark, who is the Founder and Executive Director and is a Broadway Actress and Award Winning Arts Educator.
