This is a girl-centered space to gently and safely learn the xtreme sports! All skill sets welcome. Our philosophy is a strong foundation will allow us to flourish on our own. We are here to guide surfers and skaters that are capable going into the ocean or riding into a skatepark without instruction! 12 students per session to ensure maximum learning and safety. Carpool for Surf/Skate/Create Camp and Surf Camp in the 'Big Red Van' aka 'Bertha'. All camps meet at Mill Valley Middle School (Harrison Skate Park). Skate Camp will remain in Mill Valley.

Ladies Shred offers a few different camp choices:

4-day Skate Camp (Monday-Thursday)

Pure focus on skate, in-depth board knowledge, safety falls, how to use your pads and gear, skate park etiquette, team work, self-paced, flexible structure, plant identifying on the bike trail, long distance skating, learn what you want! 9:30am-3pm.

4-day Mini Skate Camp (9:30am-1pm)

Pure focus on skate, in-depth fundamental board knowledge, safety falls; how to use your pads and gear, skate park etiquette, team work, self-paced, flexible structure, long distance skating. 9:30am-1pm. One week available 7/15-7/18.

4-day Surf Camp (Monday-Thursday)

Deepen our knowledge of the ocean! Learn how to catch waves with just your body! How do we safely assess ocean conditions? Learn how to use a board in the water with trained instructors.

This is a beautiful chance for our girls to learn together while supporting each other. 9:30am-3pm.

5-day Surf/Skate/Create (Monday-Friday)

A combo of the two camps above, lil less time on each but same amount of safety training! Two days surf, two days skate, one art day where we create a Ladies Shred shred or surprise art project! 9:30am-3pm.

Schedule for 5-day Surf/Skate/Create sessions:

DAY 1 – SKATE: Get to know each other and introduce safety, board skills, over all connect with the group!

DAY 2 – SURF: Get to know each other and introduce safety, board skills, over all connect with the group!

DAY 3 – SKATE: Guided lessons and open skate practice

DAY 4 – SURF: Guided lessons and open surf practice

DAY 5 – CREATE: Individual art projects done as a team, will reveal week of!

This space is designed to be for everybody. There's no pressure to be at any level. Just come hang out with us and be your silly self. We want you to be creative and express yourself. There's a lot involved in learning these sports - that's why we go slow and pace ourselves.
