About
RoCo Dance Youth Programs offers classes in Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Breaking, Brazilian, Cardio, Pilates, Fitness, Modern, and Zumba. The program includes classes that span all levels and styles for youth and adults, with over 100 classes weekly at its Mill Valley studio and a total of 175 classes weekly for adults and youth.
RoCo Dance Youth Programs was founded in 1993 by professional dancer Annie Rosenthal Parr and has been a cornerstone of Marin County's dance community for over three decades. The program is led by Artistic Director and Owner Sadie Carhart and Founder Annie Rosenthal Parr. Classes are taught by some of the Bay Area's finest instructors and guest artists, and RoCo attracts the Bay Area’s finest instructors and master teachers. RoCo Dance’s stated pursuit is to inspire authenticity and confidence through creative practice, physical rigor, exposure and acceptance. RoCo Dance is committed to inclusion and equity in their dance program and practices and is actively working towards cultivating a diverse faculty and student body. RoCo dancers perform 4–6 times annually at Bay Area performance venues, with performances held 4–6 times annually at Marin Center and RoCo’s performance space in Fairfax, showcasing original choreography.
