Scott Valley Swimming Lessons

Scott Valley Swimming Lessons takes place in a club that offers aquatics classes, swim lessons, competitive swim programs, and a swim team. Families using the program also have access to rec swim and water fitness as part of the broader aquatics offerings at the club.

Scott Valley Swimming & Tennis Club began in the late 1960s, opened its doors on November 12, 1972, and added the six-lane, 25-yard swimming pool two years later. Solar panels were added in 1981 to help heat the swimming pool, and an expansion in 1998 added a spa, wading pool, expanded fitness room, and larger locker rooms. In 2009 the pool and pool deck were resurfaced, a new spa and café were added, the fitness center was enlarged, and new lockers were installed in the adult locker rooms, and in 2023 the club began construction of outdoor showers and a renovation of the adult locker rooms. The club states that it strives to provide an environment that fosters health, recreation and a sense of community for its members, guests and employees. Members have contributed to the club’s development by serving on the Board of Directors and on standing committees.
