• Ages: 1–12 years old

For over 25 years, Soccer Stars has offered year-round soccer camps and seasonal kids soccer classes. The program includes 1–12+ programs, classes, and camps, and offers a comprehensive, developmental experience for children ages 1 to 12+. Its curriculum is age-specific and crafted by soccer experts and child development professionals, and Super Soccer Stars coaches use imaginative-based games to reinforce skills and concepts. Shining Stars uses soccer to teach life skills to children with developmental challenges and encourages children to work at their own pace, with sessions described as fun-filled to allow children to express themselves and make new friends. Private classes are described as a completely personalized experience, and the program also offers a Crib-to-College Player Pathway within a fun, non-competitive, and nurturing environment that uses life skills taught through soccer.

Soccer Stars states that its goal is to help children improve their gross motor and soccer skills and that its philosophy goes beyond teaching the fundamentals of the sport by using the soccer ball as a vehicle to instill important life lessons, develop skills, boost confidence, and develop teamwork in every class. The program notes that it is dedicated to ensuring that young players have safe and positive experiences on the field. Soccer Stars coaches are required to undergo extensive background checks and participate in rigorous training programs, and they receive training, a competitive hourly wage, a flexible work schedule, and a positive work environment. The program highlights a low kid-to-coach ratio and notes that coaches use positive reinforcement to build self-confidence in every child.

The Super Soccer Stars family of brands joined the Youth Athletes United team in 2018. Soccer Stars Bay Area is in partnership with the Parks and Recreation departments of Mill Valley, Berkeley, Piedmont, El Cerrito, Brisbane, Foster City, San Bruno, Burlingame, Redwood City, and American Canyon. The leadership team includes Colin Dobson (Regional Director - San Francisco Bay Area), Desiree Robertson (Coaching Coordinator), and Jonalyn Fernandez and Vanessa Zambas in Operations & Customer Service. The program website includes the prompt, “Love your experience?Leave a review!”
