Sweetwater Music Hall Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization that is fully devoted to advancing education, understanding and appreciation of music, culture and arts through the presentation of a vibrant and diverse range of live performances. The original Sweetwater opened in 1972, closed temporarily in 2007, and re-opened at a new location in 2012. In the 1980s, the Times of London hailed the Sweetwater as one of the best nightclubs in America. One testimonial shared about Sweetwater states, “Music has a way of finding the big, invisible moving pieces inside our hearts and souls and helping us figure out the position of things inside us.” – Bobby Weir.
