First Tee – Central Valley

First Tee – Central Valley offers junior golf programs that include a four-day golf camp, on-course Match Day, and a Mini-Tournament, along with practice in Full Swing and Short Game areas. The program also includes Strategy & Rules sessions on the course and offers additional options through the First Tee School Program and the First Tee Community Program. All registered participants must have their own golf clubs and bag, and families who need clubs are asked to contact the program before the first day of class.

• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Class options include weekday afternoon sessions, weeklong morning summer sessions, and recurring Saturday and weekday evening classes; each class runs for one week and meets each morning from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for the listed camp sessions.
• Price: $90–$150 per participant for most sessions; $99 for the four-day golf camp at River Oaks Golf Course & Event Center

First Tee – Central Valley states that its mission is to positively impact young people in the Central Valley area by providing educational programs that build positive character development and deliver life skills through the game of golf. The organization notes that it is a youth development organization that integrates golf with a life skills curriculum and that it is “Building Game Changers through our junior golf programs.” The program serves families across Stanislaus, Merced, Mariposa, and Tuolumne counties and also offers the First Tee School Program and First Tee Community Program in schools and local youth-serving organizations.
