GymStars Camps offers day camps that include fitness games and activities, team-oriented games and activities, and themed weeks such as Gymnastics Week, Heroes vs Villains, Movement Mania, Exploratorium, Jedi Training, Imagination Week, and As Seen On Tv. Children spend the day in an air-conditioned facility with structured activities and no unstructured or unsupervised play. Some weeks include a performance for families on Friday.
• Schedule: Spring Camp runs March 23–27, and Summer Camps run June 1–July 31 with weekly themes; full-time options run Monday through Friday 8:30am–4:30pm, and part-time options run Monday through Friday either 8:30am–12:00pm or 1:00pm–4:30pm, with check-in at 8:30am and pick-up between 4:15pm–4:30pm.
• Price: Full-time camps cost $350 for the general public and $275 for GymStars members taking classes; part-time camps cost $250 for the general public and $200 for GymStars members taking classes, with early bird discounts available for all options and an extra discount for signing up for all 8 weeks.
Children enrolled in half-day programs have 1–2 snack breaks between activities, and children in full-day programs have 2–4 snack breaks and a 1-hour supervised lunch between 12:00pm–1:00pm. Snacks and lunch are not provided, and families are asked to send a sack lunch and snacks from home each day. Hours listed for full-time and part-time are maximum hours, and children may attend any duration within their enrolled slot, with late pickups charged a one-day late pickup fee of $6.
GymStars Camps requires that a completed Camp Registration Packet be submitted on or before each child’s first day of camp. Only persons authorized by the parent or legal guardian at registration may drop off or pick up children, and all persons dropping off or picking up must show official photo ID. For each child’s safety, an adult is asked to accompany the child into and out of the facility and sign in and out every day, and children are not allowed to use phone or media devices during camp and are asked not to bring them. GymStars always has at least one CPR and First Aid certified employee on staff at all times when children are in the facility.
GymStars also offers birthday parties that are private, fully hosted events centered around the birthday child, and describes these as the best birthday party value in the area.
