Conejo Valley Basketball Club has partnered with Progression Athletics International to support its mission of helping at-risk youth through sports. The club emphasizes teaching players good habits on and off the court and involves them in giving back through community service. CVBC families also participate in Change for Children’s, which benefits Children’s Hospital Los Angeles by funding specific initiatives in the pediatric cancer unit. Players and families receive a collection jar for spare change, and CVBC states that it hopes to fund a TV and video game cart for kids receiving treatment or a holiday dinner for families spending time in the hospital during festive periods.
