High Street Arts Center Youth Theatre Programs

High Street Arts Center Youth Theatre Programs offers youth musical theatre education programming that includes Show case sessions and Theatre Camps. These Show case sessions and Theatre Camps are given under the direction of trained and experienced faculty. The theater has a vibrant youth program that serves 200 kids annually.

The Moorpark Foundation for the Arts operates the High Street Arts Center and sponsors the youth musical theatre education programming. The purpose of the Foundation is to support and promote the growth and enjoyment of the performing arts and visual arts in Moorpark and surrounding areas, with a major program goal of providing youth, particularly economically disadvantaged youngsters, with an opportunity to discover and experience live theatre. The leadership team includes David Pollock, President/CEO; Ken Rayzor, General Manager; Hugh Riley, Vice President; Cara Tedrick, Board Secretary; Laurel Marion, Treasurer and Finance Manager; Eric Manders, Board Member; Kathee Boyer, Board Member; and Darrin Ingram, Board Member. The theater has a newly refurbished 266 seat house.
