Outside Now Summer Nature Camps offers activities such as basketry, wood carving, fishing, scouting, tracking, music, dance, nature play, and hands-on projects. Campers explore nature as inspiration for creative expression with sound, story, and rhythm through a variety of themed camp options. Camp opportunities take place both on the land and by the sea.
• Ages: 3–17 years old
Outside Now Summer Nature Camps includes several Nature Connection Programs and Summer Nature Camps under the Outside Now Summer Nature Camps for 2026 lineup. Tadpoles camp is for ages 3–5, Tree Frogs camp is for ages 5–7, Water Striders camp is for ages 7–12, and Wild Earth Wanderers camp is for ages 7–12. Nature Crafters camps are for ages 7–12 and include hands-on projects such as basketry and wood carving, and an additional Nature Crafters session has been added. Artemis Way camp is for girls ages 9–12, Fish Camp is for youth ages 8–14 who are interested in learning the skills and protocols for fishing responsibly, Songbirds: Nature and Music Camp is for youth ages 8–14, and Teens in Nature Camp is for teens ages 13–17. Tadpole and Tree Frog sessions are returning with some new themes, and Water Strider and Wild Earth Wanderer Camps are back with fresh adventures in store. Teens in Nature Camp combines features of previously offered scouting and tracking camps with new games, challenges, practices, and fun. The camps are immersed in the incomparable wild lands of the Central Coast and are part of Central Coast Village Center dba Outside Now, which is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Educational Organization. The program is bringing back old favorites and adding new creative offerings to the lineup of camp opportunities for the Summer of 2026. The stated mission is to “Connect with the wild lands, be uplifted by the natural world, and make new nature-loving friends this summer!” Outside Now is powered by Squarespace.
