Gymtowne Gymnastics Coastside offers gymnastics, obstacle courses, and games in a 14,000 square foot facility with three separate gym areas. The Main Gym is used for the school-age program, teens and adults, and the competitive team, while the Mini Gym and Rug Bug Gym are set up for younger students. Children ages 5–12 take part in gymnastics, obstacle courses, games, and more during camps.

The facility includes viewing areas in each gym. The Main Gym is equipped with a floor, beams, bars, vault, and TumbleTrak, and the Mini Gym includes an AirTrak and floor. The Mini Gym houses smaller-sized apparatus for younger gymnasts ages 3 to 5, and the Rug Bug Gym includes boys’ equipment, open space, soft landings, and bright materials for students ages 1 to 2.
Gymtowne Gymnastics Coastside is a local, family-owned business that has served the Half Moon Bay community and the Moss Beach community for more than 30 years. Owner Kayla Strom leads the program and states that the goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for students along the Coastside and beyond to gain self-confidence, build body-awareness, and develop socially through gymnastics. Instructors are certified by USA Gymnastics and, if they are 18 years or older, undergo USA Gymnastics’ NCIS Criminal Background Check.
The program offers a variety of fitness and gymnastics classes for babies, toddlers, teens, and adults, including weekly classes for ages 1–5, 6–13, teens, and adults. It also offers a Competitive Team Program, day camps for school-age children throughout the year, as well as Spring Break Camp and Summer Camp. Families sign up for classes through an online portal where they can browse the schedule, register for classes and events, and manage tuition.
