About
Shoreline Lake Kids Camps offers a Kayak & Sail Spring Camp where campers spend the week learning to kayak and sail. The program includes daily lessons and on-the-water exercises that cover water safety, boat handling basics, and knot tying. Shoreline’s certified instructors lead the sessions.
• Ages: 9–15 years old
• Schedule: Weeklong Kayak & Sail Spring Camp sessions, with Spring 2026 options running 10:00am–2:30pm
• Price: Kayak & Sail Spring Camp $775
Campers are asked to bring their own lunch and snacks, as camp lunches are not provided during 2026 due to planned Bistro renovations, though some kid-friendly snack foods are available for purchase onsite. Recommended items to bring include comfortable clothes, a jacket or fleece, a towel and change of clothes, sun protection, a lanyard for glasses, a reusable water bottle, and shoes or booties for use on the boats and in the water, plus athletic shoes for before and after boating; flip-flops are not allowed. Campers must be able to swim and weigh at least 60 pounds, and on the first day families are asked to arrive 15–20 minutes early for registration and sign-in. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) are required for all lake users, and campers without their own may rent one for $5. Shoreline Lake Kids Camps follows US Sailing’s highest standards, with stated priorities of Safety, Fun, and Learning.
