About

Shoreline Lake Kids Camps offers a weeklong Kayak & Sail Spring Camp where campers spend time learning to kayak and sail. Campers take part in on-the-water exercises that cover water safety, boat handling basics, and knot tying, led by Shoreline’s certified instructors in a supportive learning environment.

• Ages: 9–15 years old
• Schedule: Weeklong course, Spring 2026 sessions April 6–10 and April 13–17, 10:00am–2:30pm
• Price: Kayak & Sail Spring Camp $775

Shoreline’s certified instructors teach water safety, boat handling basics, and knot tying, and the program follows Shoreline Lake’s mission of holding the highest US Sailing standards with priorities of Safety, Fun, and Learning. Shoreline Lake requires PFDs for all lake users, and if a camper does not have a PFD, one may be rented for $5 each. Campers are asked to arrive 15–20 minutes early on the first day for registration and sign-in, and prerequisites include the ability to swim and a minimum weight of 60 lbs.

Families are asked to send campers with lunch and snacks, as Shoreline Lake will not be providing a camp lunch with any camp programs this year due to planned renovations to the Bistro throughout 2026. Some kid-friendly snack foods are available for purchase onsite, and campers are expected to bring comfortable clothes, a jacket or fleece, a towel and change of clothes, sun protection, a lanyard for glasses, a reusable water bottle, and shoes or booties for use on the boats and in the water. Campers should have water shoes or aqua socks for boating, athletic shoes for before and after boating, and no flip-flops are allowed.
