Spring Kayak & Sail Spring Camp

Spring Kayak & Sail Spring Camp includes kayaking and sailing for ages 9-15. Certified instructors teach water safety, boat handling basics, and knot tying, and daily lessons and on-the-water exercises build those skills. The camp runs 10:00am-2:30pm during spring break as a weeklong course and costs $775 per week.

About the provider

Campers must be able to swim and weigh at least 60 lbs. The first day of camp asks families to arrive 15-20 minutes before the start time to register and sign in. Campers should bring lunch, snacks, comfortable clothes, a jacket or fleece, a towel and change of clothes, sun protection, a lanyard for glasses, a reusable water bottle, shoes or booties for the boats and water, water shoes or aqua socks for boating, and athletic shoes before and after boating; no flip-flops are allowed.

Certified instructors provide a supportive learning environment and teach water safety, boat handling basics, and knot tying. Daily lessons and on-the-water exercises progressively develop skills. Shoreline Lake holds the highest US Sailing standards with priorities encompassing Safety, Fun, and Learning. On the first day of camp, arrive 15-20 minutes before the start time to register and sign-in. Parents: no pets, including dogs, may enter the park, even if inside a vehicle when dropping off and picking up campers. PFDs are required for all lake users.
