According to the program’s mission statement, athletes at Camp of Champions receive intense, advanced, and elite-level Freestyle, Folkstyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling instruction directly from Olympic Champions, NCAA Champions, NAIA National Champions, College All-Americans, State Champions, and USA National Team Members. The mission statement also says the staff uses proven systems to develop technique, confidence, and toughness in a safe, structured, and motivating environment, and describes the camps as a transformational training experience that builds champions on and off the mat.

Camp clinicians include Olympic Champions, NCAA Champions, NAIA National Champions, College All-Americans, State Champions, and USA National Team Members. The program is described as offering some of the best youth wrestling camps in the United States, including girls wrestling, heavyweight “Big Man” wrestling camps, and Greco-Roman, Folkstyle, Freestyle, and team wrestling summer camps.

One camper, E. Gonzales from California High, said the camp taught them that their body could be pushed further than they thought and that they learned to “truly embrace the grind.” Another camper, Bobby R., said they got in shape, learned a lot of technique from clinicians including Chris Pendleton and Brent Metcalf, and that the hard parts of the 12-day camp made them better. A third camper, Larry V., said the camp taught them determination, hard work, and how to make and commit to a plan, and that they “walked in average and came out with the knowledge and skill of a champion.”
