Alta Performing Arts

Alta Performing Arts offers dance classes and musical theatre training that include Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Combo Classes, Advanced Classes, Musical Theater Classes, and Gymnast/Acro. The program also offers Private Lessons, Vocal Coaching, Audition Prep, Performance Skills, and Specialty Choreography.

• Ages: 3.5–17 years old
• Schedule: Fall–Spring season runs from September through May.

Alta Performing Arts describes its studio as offering intimate classes with one-on-one mentorship and professional-level training in a joyful, inspiring, and ever-growing environment. All dance classes and musical theater students are welcome to perform in a Spring Recital held in late May or early June. The studio participates in Newark Days performances and the annual Newark Days Parade. The leadership team includes Miss Monique as Studio Director and Lead Teacher, along with teachers Miss Katarina and Miss Jade. The program’s mission states that it aims to “sprinkle joy while igniting a fire in each child that helps evoke an everlasting confidence,” to “instill self-assurance while fostering a drive and determination to reach new heights,” and to inspire young performing artists to be “Fierce, Fearless, Passionate + Bold.”
