Happy Kidz Family Child Care

Happy Kidz Family Child Care offers activities such as story time, music, outdoor play, phonics, alphabets, and numbers. The program uses the power of play to support each child’s learning, creativity, and self-discovery in an eco-friendly environment. Developmentally appropriate activities are a key part of the program’s Montessori-based approach.

Happy Kidz Family Child Care is a home based Montessori day care program that combines child care with a Montessori approach for children 15 months to 5 years old and an after school program for children 5 to 10 years old. The program emphasizes Montessori discipline that focuses on teaching independence, responsibility, self-discipline, and cognitive development at each child’s own pace, while recognizing and respecting the individuality of every child. Happy Kidz Family Child Care is described as a Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Development for ages 15 months to 5 years and offers an Excellence in After School Program for ages 5 to 10 years, with full-time, part-time, and hourly options and a low teacher to child ratio. The program is an authorized MindPower Child Care & Literacy Center and an affiliate subsidiary of MindPower Group Incorporated, and it is an Asthma Friendly Child Care Program that offers homemade vegetarian hot meals and snacks, including Indian (North Indian, South Indian, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Gujarati), Italian, Indo-Chinese, Mexican, and American food.

The provider and administrator, Mrs. Mukta Jain, is licensed by the State of California for a family child care program (California State License # 013421041). She is a qualified Early Childhood Educator who completed Early Childhood Master Teacher Program courses at Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, CA with A grades and a 4.0 GPA, and completed an Observation and Assessment of Children’s Behavior course at the University of California, Riverside with an A grade and 4.0 GPA. She holds an MBA degree with first class distinction in Human Resources from Amity University and a bachelor’s degree with coursework in nutrition, sociology, and home science. Mukta Jain is CPR certified, First Aid certified, and PHP course trained and certified.

Happy Kidz Family Child Care states a commitment to an eco-friendly environment and to using play to connect children to the larger world, support trust with peers and adults outside their family, and build confidence and self-reliance. The program states that it provides a safe environment that nurtures self-esteem and creativity, and that it supports independence, self-confidence, and social responsibilities. Happy Kidz has community involvement through its authorization as a MindPower Child Care & Literacy Center and through volunteering at Cabrillo State Preschool in Fremont, CA (2005–2006), Hyman State Preschool in Fremont, CA (2010–2011), and Kidango Ruschin Preschool in Newark, CA (2011–2012), and it holds certificates from Fremont Unified School District, City of Fremont, and Kidango, City of Newark, for classroom practical experience.
