About
Youth Theatre Institute gives participants experience in singing, dancing, and acting while working together. The program includes putting on a show on the main stage with costumes, makeup, microphones, and more. Adventures in Theatre concludes with multiple performances, and ACT III concludes with performances for family and friends.
• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Adventures in Theatre and ACT III run in fall sessions from September 2 through early to mid-November, with classes meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon.
• Price: Adventures in Theatre tuition: $399 + $25 registration fee; ACT III tuition: $349 + $25 registration fee; sibling discounts, payment plans, and some scholarships are available.
The Youth Theatre Institute is part of the Canyon Theatre Guild, which is a 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization. The Executive & Artistic Director is TimBen Boydston, and the Director of Box Office & Youth Programs is Katrina Negrete. Registration is only available by calling and is not available online. Booster seats are available for smaller theatre-goers, and blankets are available if the theatre’s temperature feels cool. No food or beverages are allowed inside the seating area, except for bottled water.
