• Price: Girls winter, spring, and fall club training ranges from $247 to $725 per month depending on how many times per week a player trains; the 2026 boys winter/spring clinic is $300 for once-a-week training; girls 2026 club and summer gear packages/memberships range from $175 to $275 as a one-time fee for new registrations.
Spiker Beach Volleyball Club began in January 2022. Founder, Director, and Head Coach Jacob Spiker Gibb is a four-time Olympian in professional beach volleyball who earned multiple Team of the Year awards from USAV, FIVB, and AVP, as well as three AVP MVP awards, and developed his coaching style over twenty years of professional play while training under Rich Lambourne, Tyler Hildebrand, Jeff Alzina, Marcio Sicoli, and Mike Dodd. The club states a belief in partnership and service, with coaches in service of the players, and focuses on technical development, mental toughness, and support in college recruitment, with the stated aim of teaching players to navigate matches on their own and serving players from local tournaments through collegiate recruitment. Spiker Beach reports strong relationships in college beach volleyball and identifies its commitment to athletes as the cornerstone of the club, with team members focused on providing the best training experience.
Spiker Beach notes that it is proud to be one of the top two clubs in the nation, and in its inaugural Club vs Club BVCA National Championships this past July, the club placed 3rd in the nation, with numerous athletes medaling in AVP, AAU, BVNE, and CBVA championships over the summer. Jake Gibb attends most Orange County tournaments with no coaching fee for Spiker Beach players. Girls club and club junior Spiker programs require a yearly gear package/membership fee that includes Lululemon club gear for uniforms and training and covers equipment, permits, coaches, site, and administration costs, and families are asked to have players wear Spiker Beach gear to all tournaments. Holiday training is opt-in by appointment only, and all summer schedules are customized by the parent and athlete when enrolling.
