Norco Equestrian Academy

Norco Equestrian Academy offers horseback lessons and horseback riding, including beginner lessons, intermediate lessons, private lessons, long line lessons, and practice rides. The program also provides horse training, horse and owner training, horse boarding, and a horse care and ownership class. All lessons are one hour in length and generally include 30 minutes of riding and 30 minutes of horse care, grooming, and tacking.

Norco Equestrian Academy states that its philosophy has always been to teach riders from all backgrounds, which is one of the reasons its prices are so affordable. All ages 6 and up are welcome. Helmets are provided and required for riders under the age of 18, and participants may bring their own bicycle helmet. Shoes with heels are preferred, but beginner riders can wear any closed-toe shoes, and riders are asked to wear long pants like jeans. All lessons must be booked in advance, and all participants must agree to the liability waiver before booking a lesson or print and fill out the form before coming; anyone who will be around the horses but is not booking online must also print and fill out the liability waiver form. Lessons may be canceled if the weather makes riding unsafe, including wind, rain and wet, heat, and related arena conditions.
