Sunshine and Daydreams Horseback Riding

Sunshine and Daydreams Horseback Riding offers a One Hour Trail Ride for ages 7+ and all riding levels, including first-time riders. The program also offers a Wagon Ride, Sweetheart Ride, Riding/Lesson Block, and Two-Hour Gaited Trail Ride, along with draft horses for larger riders.

Programs

• One Hour Trail Ride — Great for ages 7+ and for all riding levels, including first-time riders. · Explore 25 miles of horseback riding trails in the Hidden Valley Wildlife Preserve on a semi-private and instructed horseback trail ride.
• Wagon Ride — Suitable for all ages. · Family-friendly horse wagon ride through the town of Norco.
• Sweetheart Ride — Private ride for two through the Santa Ana Riverbed, followed by apple cider, strawberries, roses, and more.
• Riding/Lesson Block — Block of 5 riding lessons, and learn to identify, halter, lead, tie, brush, and tack your horse followed by a trail ride through the Hidden Valley Wildlife Preserve.
• Two-Hour Gaited Trail Ride — 5-mile horse ride through diverse landscapes like bamboo forests and desert plains guided by experienced instructors on smooth gaited horses.

About the provider

Sunshine and Daydreams Horseback Riding was founded by Sonja Trefethen in 1990. The program describes itself as a local, private horseback riding stable and says it supports the equine community.

• Draft Horses (XL horses) — Extra large horses available for larger riders and for riders who would like to ride an extra large horse.

At S&D, each ride is semi-private and individually led by professional trail guides with a strong focus on safety, confidence, and building a meaningful connection between horse and rider. Our horses have been thoughtfully recovered and given a second chance at life. We maintain a conservative riding policy to ensure the safety of our riders and the well-being of our horses. All guests are asked to follow the guidance of our trained instructors.
