Town & Country Day School offers activities such as planting seeds, watching them grow into corn, cabbage, and other vegetables, and planting trees. Children also take part in conversation, stories, exploration, singing, and creative play. The program includes time for children to eat the harvest they have grown.

• Ages: 2–12 years old
• Schedule: Hours: 6:00am – 6:00pm

Town & Country Day School operates on 5 acres that include green areas with plentiful trees, outdoor and indoor classrooms, gardens, state-of-the-art play systems, and unique outdoor playgrounds, gardens, and classrooms. It is described as an early childhood development center and program with a comprehensive, age-appropriate educational program, small class sizes, and an age-appropriate challenging curriculum. The program uses indoor and unique outdoor classrooms, gardens, and open space and follows a rich curriculum of conversation, stories, exploration, singing, and creative play.

Town & Country Day School is state licensed and has trained, professional staff. The leadership team includes Executive Director Betty Bash, Program Director Carla Reyes, Curriculum Director Noemy Cabrera, Assistant Director Jenny Duran, Teacher Dany Martinez, Kindergarten Teacher Arcelia Ramos, Facilities Director Kevin Bash, and Garden Master Heather Renteria. The school is a proud partner of Quality Start Riverside County and is one of the few private facilities to attain a four-star rating, based on rigorous early childhood education standards in areas such as child observation, health and child development, teacher training and education, positive teacher-child interactions, teacher-child ratio, environment, and director training and education.

Town & Country Day School opened its doors in 1963 as the first state licensed preschool and day-care center in the Norco–Corona area and is the oldest same-owner business in Norco, with an establishment date of 1961. Betty and Allen are considered early childhood education pioneers for their creation of academic programs, inventive play systems, and the grounds. The stated mission is to provide excellent and affordable educational opportunities for every child to develop to their full potential: mind, body, and spirit.

The program notes that enrollment is limited and that parent involvement at all levels is welcome. It accepts private pay, offers income-based early learning scholarships, and participates in a Parental Choice Program with eligibility and need-based criteria (CAPP & GAIN). It lists options for preschool, transitional kindergarten, and kindergarten and notes that it is now enrolling.

Town & Country Day School describes itself as Riverside County’s and the Inland Empire’s most unique early childhood development center, with a healthy, wholesome, and appropriately challenging learning environment and safe spaces for children to use their hands in gardening activities. It states that it focuses on guiding children to success socially, emotionally, verbally, physically, and intellectually.

Town & Country Day School also highlights community involvement under “Town & Country Gives Back,” including over 200 team sponsorships and support for groups and events such as Norco Little League, Norco Girls Softball, Norco High FFA, JFK Middle College, Norco College, 100 Mile Club, Kiwanis, George Ingalls Veteran’s Memorial, Norco High Tennis Team, Norco Horsemen’s Association Horse Week, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, George Ingalls JRAFROTC Scholarship, Mounted Posse, and a Town & Country Scholarship awarded each year to a graduating Norco High School student who attended Town & Country as a child.
