The Cobrinha Bully-Proof Program for Kids is described as a non-violent, yet effective and complete self-defense system that is completely based in leverage and submission with no kicking or punching involved. Growth and stamina courses are open to students of all skill levels, and fitness classes are described as accommodating a wide range of fitness levels with exercises that can be adapted or taken to more advanced levels. The No-Gi BJJ program teaches grappling fundamentals without the conventional Gi, including takedowns, throws, and submissions, and No-Gi practitioners wear athletic wear rather than a typical martial arts uniform. Children as young as four may enroll in the academy, and people of any age can continue their education there, and students can learn BJJ for self-defense, sport jiu-jitsu (including submission grappling), and MMA.
