Little Treehouse Academy

Little Treehouse Academy offers language instruction in English, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, and Armenian. Children take part in gardening, lessons on the grass in a tree-shaded playground, and interactive games projected onto the playroom floor. The program includes STEAM activities through hands-on projects and experiments, daily dramatic play enrichment classes, music and dance enrichment classes, gymnastics, soccer, karate, nutrition education lessons about food groups and healthy eating options, and time holding, petting, and feeding a bunny and other small animals.

Little Treehouse Academy is a preschool and daycare center with a beautiful outdoor classroom that includes a tree-shaded playground and gardens, and a playroom with a beam projection system for life-sized interactive floor games. The program offers full-time and part-time options, as well as a full-day Transitional Kindergarten Plus program for 4- and 5-year-olds, and states a guarantee that children will be ready for kindergarten. Children spend over two hours a day outdoors, weather permitting, and receive healthy, organic, home-cooked meals and snacks made from fresh ingredients, free from dyes, preservatives, and unhealthy sugars, in a nut-free environment with options to customize the menu for sensitivities or allergies. Families receive pictures and updates on their child’s day through the Brightwheel app, and children interact with small animals such as a bunny as part of the program’s activities.

Classes are kept small and are led by degreed teachers with an average of five or more years of experience. The founder, Ms. Anna, has been voted Best Preschool Teacher. The program’s mission statement is “Exploring And Soaring Together Exceptional Early Education, Language Learning, and Nature-Inspired Experiences To Equip Your Child For Success In School And Beyond.” Little Treehouse Academy has been voted BEST in Day Care Center + Tutoring and FAVORITE in Preschool, Kids Entertainment & Kids Camp by the Daily News, holds Eco-Healthy Certification, is Silver-Level Certified by PRESCHOOLS SHINE for its nutrition-packed menu, and is a winner of the Daily News Readers Choice Awards 2025 in several categories, including Best Early Childhood Educational Program, Best Preschool Teacher (Ms. Anna), Best Preschool in Chatsworth / Porter Ranch, and Favorite Private School and Awesome Preschool. The program supports families from many nearby communities, supports families who qualify for subsidy, participates in The Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) financial assistance program, and follows a non-discrimination policy regarding race, color, national and ethnic origin.
