German Language School of the North Bay offers Saturday morning German language classes along with Special Interest classes during the school year and summer. The program includes events that give students the opportunity to use German in engaging and useful activities, as well as fun social interactions and culturally meaningful events.

• Schedule: Saturday mornings from 9:30am to noon, September through May (excluding holidays)
The German Language School of the North Bay was founded in 1967 in Novato, California, and has served Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties since 1967 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It operates as a non-profit Saturday school and community committed to furthering the language, culture, and customs of German-speaking countries. Most instructors are from German-speaking countries and possess teaching credentials, and the school is led by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. The program is a member of the non-profit German American School Association of Northern California (GASANC) and is also connected with other clubs, schools, and organizations associated with German culture, language, and events in San Francisco and the North Bay. The school offers a selection of Special Interest classes, both online and in person, throughout the school year and the summer, and has a campus in both Marin and Sonoma counties, with a limited number of classes available online.
