Girl Scouts of Northern California Programs and Events offers Girl Scouts activities that show participants they can do anything. Girl Scouts in this program uphold the Girl Scout Promise and Law in everything they do. The program uses an Annual Program Guide that is packed with council and partner-led events.

Girl Scouts of Northern California is a 501(c)(3) organization. The council releases an Annual Impact Report. The Heritage Committee collects, conserves, and catalogs items related to Girl Scout history to share with current Girl Scouts. Girls entering kindergarten or first grade who sign up by July 31 receive three activity books delivered to their door through the Get Ready with Girl Scouts Program. The program is supported by adult volunteers and mentors in the community, as well as millions of alums around the globe. The Girl Scouts of Northern California CEO has been named one of the most Influential Women in Bay Area Business.
