About
The Junior Golf Program introduces young players to golf through activities that include the Junior Golf Program itself, Summer Camps, Private Lessons, and Small Group Lessons. These options give families different ways to involve their children in learning and playing golf in a structured setting.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
The Junior Golf Program is part of a broader set of offerings at Indian Valley Golf Club, which was designed by Robert Nyberg and built in 1958. The program follows the mission of Indian Valley, which states that it has a program to get juniors started in the game and is dedicated to a child having the best first golfing experience possible. The course associated with this program is an 18 hole professional course that provides a challenge for players of all skill levels and is described as offering some of the best golfing in the San Francisco Bay Area, with scenic beauty amongst wetlands and woodlands. The club also highlights “Great Golf | Great Food | Great Fun” as a unique feature and offers a virtual tour with player perspectives by John Abendroth and Mitch Juricich of “Hooked on Golf.”
