Noah's Ark Preschool

Noah's Ark Preschool offers activities that include children’s literature, reading and math readiness, basic academic skills, science exploration, Bible stories, dramatic play, language arts, Spanish, phonics, music and movement, art, music, movement, STEM, outdoor exploration, and a Garden Program. The program includes gymnastics and sports as part of its activities.

Noah’s Ark Preschool has been serving children from Marin County and the surrounding areas since 1979. The program states that play is the foundation of learning and introduces simple Bible truths such as love, honesty, and respect for others. Its mission statement is that every child should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and explore in a safe, fun, and loving environment. The preschool operates in a beautiful, park-like setting and holds License # 210105564.

The Caterpillar Class welcomes children ages 2–2.9 and focuses on language, friendship, and sensory exploration through art, music, and movement. The Bear Cub Class serves older twos and threes, with attention to independence, social skills, confidence, hands-on learning experiences, and beginning potty training. The Monkey Class serves older threes with early phonics, math, science, and process art experiences. The Owl Class is the Pre-K program and includes play-based exploration with age-appropriate academics, including social, emotional, and cognitive skills for kindergarten and beyond. Across all age groups, the curriculum blends play, exploration, and structured learning, with daily opportunities in music, movement, art, STEM, outdoor exploration, and a Garden Program that gives children hands-on experiences with nature, food, and plant life. Children entering the 2’s program do not need to be potty-trained.

The teachers at Noah’s Ark Preschool have many years of experience and are described as highly qualified. The Admission Packet includes a Physician’s Report that must be filled out by a doctor and returned to the School Office along with a current copy of the child’s immunization record.

Noah’s Ark Preschool is part of Marin Christian Academy, which also offers Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle School, and High School programs. Marin Christian Academy offers Transitional Kindergarten for children aged 4 by September 1st, Kindergarten for children aged 5 by September 1st, Elementary (Grades 1–5), Middle School (Grades 6–8), and High School. Marin Christian Academy/Noah's Ark Preschool and North Bay Christian Academy admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school, and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
