About

Kid's Summer Camps includes activities such as team recreation, zipline, archery, BB guns, gaga ball, pickleball, hiking, swimming, crafts, tournaments, basketball, and a hike to Red Rock Falls. Campers also have access to a swimming pool, canoes in the pond, and BB Guns / Archery. The program includes worship times and “built-for-kids” chapel times that focus on learning about the armor of God and how it can change their lives.

• Price: Student: $595; Adult: $299; Pastor/Leader: Free; Pricing for adults is good for 2 adults per cabin, after that, full price rate; 1 Kids Leader/Pastor is free with 10 campers registered; Junior Leaders are charged full price; No Counselors will be provided from the camp.

The program’s mission statement is “Impacting Lives for Christ Through Exceptional Camping Experiences.” Timber Mountain is described as fun and serene, is open late spring through mid-October, and offers facilities and activities without the normal cost of a hosted retreat.

Jordan Niles serves as the Kids Summer Speaker and serves as the Kids Ministry Director & Family Pastor at The Well in Clovis, California.

Families are given a detailed packing list that includes items such as a sleeping bag, bedding, pillow, Bible, notebook, pen, towels, personal hygiene items, flashlight with new batteries, insect repellent, spending money for the gift store, snacks, crafts, and adventure recreation, stationery and stamps, casual modest clothing for warm and cool weather, a jacket, a modest swimsuit (one-piece or tankini), beach towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a backpack if desired. The list also specifies enclosed shoes like boots or tennis shoes, flip flops or sandals for pond activities, and any necessary medication in original containers, and it instructs families not to send prescription drugs not prescribed to the camper. The program prohibits pets, personal sports equipment, vehicles, tobacco, drugs, alcohol, computers, tablets, electronic gaming devices, iPods, cell phones, inappropriate reading or pictorial material, fireworks, matches, lighters, and weapons such as knives or air-soft guns, and states that any camper caught with these items will have them confiscated and may be sent home.
