About
3DMAKERCAMP offers hands-on design and prototyping activities that include 3D printing, laser cutting, LEGO robotics, woodworking, arts and crafts, and STEM projects. Campers work on designing and making products through 2D and 3D design, programming, robotics, t-shirt making, and using tools such as a CNC router, woodshop, and vinyl cutter. The program also includes entrepreneurship projects, teamwork, homework help, and outside adventures.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Weeklong workshops with after school options Monday–Wednesday; meets Mondays and Tuesdays 3:00–6:00PM and Wednesdays 1:30–6:00PM
3DMAKERCAMP runs weeklong workshops for kids ages 5–14, with each week built around a unique theme such as robotics, woodworking, or entrepreneurship. Campers use state-of-the-art tools to design and create their own projects, which they take home, following the Imagination → Ideation → Design → Fabrication process known as THE 3DMC WAY. The after school program includes homework help and snacks, and healthy snacks are provided to keep students fueled during activities.
The program takes place at 3DMAKERSPACE at Artthaus Studio, a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technology in 3D printing, laser cutting, and robotics, along with spacious woodshop and fabrication areas. The mission of 3DMAKERCAMP states that the facility is designed to inspire creativity and innovation through a hands-on learning environment focused on STEM education. Leadership is associated with Jeadi of Neologix Engineering Labs and 3DMAKERCAMP, and one parent testimonial from Darren in summer 2025 notes multiple summers of attendance, highlights learning about technology, 3D printing, laser cutting, computers, games, and creative STEM activities, mentions outside adventures, and appreciates the focus on girls’ interaction with STEM.
