CFC Learning Centers offers activities such as art, music, dance, math, science, other languages, American Sign Language, yoga, world music, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and character education. Children can take part in enrichment activities, field-trips, community service, tutoring and homework assistance, art classes, life skills classes, and a structured academic program that starts with infants and goes through age 14. The program includes peer, group, and one-on-one tutoring, as well as early learning activities like color and shape recognition, counting, problem solving, letter and number recognition, beginning sounds, vowel sounds, sequencing, predicting, graphing, beginning sight words, emergent literacy, math and science inquiry-based investigations, and fine art introductions.

The program includes an Infant Program for children 8 weeks to 24 months old that covers needs such as diaper changes and proper food and milk intake, a Toddler Program for 24 to 36 months that prepares children to move into preschool, Preschool and Pre-K for 36 to 60 months that prepares children for kindergarten, and a School Age Program for ages 6 through 14 years old offered before and after school. The Vista location offers tutoring and after school programs for children ages 6 through 18 years old, and the School Age Program includes breakfast in the morning, snacks after school, enrichment activities, field-trips, community service, tutoring and homework assistance, and low-cost transportation to and from school for certain nearby zip codes. Care includes nutritious snacks and meals, diapers and wipes for infants and toddlers, materials for creative and academic curriculum, and nap time sheets and blankets that are consistently cleaned and washed, along with daily reports, quarterly assessments, and bi-annual conferences for parents.

The Bright Baby Infants curriculum focuses on social and emotional elements, language, and small and large muscle development, and incorporates American Sign Language, yoga, and world music. The Toddler/Twos curriculum focuses on social and emotional elements, language, small and large muscle development, and phonological awareness, while the Preschool curriculum includes phonological awareness and character education. The Pre-Kindergarten curriculum includes emergent literacy, math and science inquiry-based investigations, and fine art introductions, and the School Age Program is predominantly a before and after school program for elementary-age children and older.

All team members are CPR and First Aid certified and have a minimum of 12 units in teaching credits, and they go through extensive training in the creative enriched curriculum and children’s health, including social and emotional elements. The founder, Shoneil Wilson, has been involved in child and community care for over 32 years and has led advocacy, youth programs that cut down on crime, and special partnerships with local police. The organization accepts almost all Federal and State funded programs, including many options for military families in need of daycare, and it accepts the CDA Essential workers subsidy.

CFC Learning Centers states a mission to serve the child, family, and community as a whole, to provide education, awareness, quality programs, and experienced staff and teachers, and to support families with life plans, goal setting, and case management through classes, resources, and referrals. The program is part of several professional associations focused on childcare and child education, including NAEYC, NBCDI, ACSI, CAAEYC, and multiple regional AEYC groups.
