Sensei Greg Smith has been teaching karate at Champion Eyes Martial Arts for almost 9 years, took Shorin-ryu for a couple of years in high school, achieved his first degree black belt in 2019 at the age of 50, and is committed to continuing his journey testing for his first degree in Kobudo (weapons) in the summer of 2021. The leadership team includes karate instructor Sensei Greg Smith, Sensei Armando, Shorin-ryu Grand-Master Sensei Tadashi Yamashita, who has a very close relationship with Champion Eyes and its students, and Karla, a Sempai brown belt. Champion Eyes Martial Arts has a direct lineage and relationship with Shorin-ryu Grand-Master Sensei Tadashi Yamashita, and instructors are described in a testimonial as among the best in the world.
