United Studios of Self Defense Oceanside has been serving Oceanside since 1991 and has been North County's premier location for Karate and Self Defense instruction for over 30 years. The leadership team includes Chief Instructor dERIC tERRELL and Assistant Instructors Elias Cawelti and Garrett Glassel. Master Terrell is a former United States Marine who served in the United States Marine Corps and serves in his church’s American Sign Language (ASL) ministry as an interpreter. The dojo offers personalized attention and sensitivity to students' needs, with a focus on students becoming more coachable, respectful, and resilient, and a dojo community that genuinely cares about families' loved ones' growth.
