Emma Bartlett Music Studio offers Private Guitar Lessons for ages 7 year olds through adults, KiddyKeys for ages 3-5 year olds, Group Piano Class for ages 7-14 year olds, Private Piano Lessons for ages 5 year olds through adults, and Private Percussion Lessons for ages 7 year olds through adults. Private guitar lessons are customized to match level and musical interests, including classical, pop songs, and singer/songwriter styles. Private percussion lessons include marimba, xylophone, timpani, snare drum, and drum set.

• Private Piano Lessons — 5 year olds - adults · Lessons for beginners through advanced.
• Private Percussion Lessons — 7 year olds - adults · Lessons for beginners through advanced in marimba, xylophone, timpani, snare drum, and drum set.

About the provider

Emma Bartlett is a Steinway Educational Partner Specialist in Alexander Technique applied to piano teaching and a Sabian Cymbals Clinician and Endorser. She earned a BM from Indiana University in 1996 and an MM from The Juilliard School in 1999. Emma serves on the Board of Directors for the Music Teachers' Association of California, Monterey, and was previously Branch Chair for the Certificate of Merit Evaluations. Recitals include studio recitals, community service recitals, MTAC All-Level recitals, the Bach Festival Young Artists Showcase, and the MTAC Piano Scholarship Auditions for cash prizes.

Prospective students are encouraged to attend a trial lesson before committing to a block of lessons. The trial lesson fee is the same as a half-hour lesson. Students who would like to participate in Certificate of Merit must be registered during the month of September. As of 2023, students can choose between in-person or online testing. Emma currently has limited availability for advanced piano students. Private lessons are intended for students dedicated to practicing a minimum of 30 minutes a day, 6 days a week, with parental help.
