About

Pacifica Cages Camps and Classes includes softball, baseball, scrimmages, defensive and hitting drills, one-on-one instruction with coaches, a game called Pickle, and a Wiffle Ball tournament. Softball and baseball are introduced in one camp and are separated into their own groups for the majority of camp, with all campers together during morning stretches and to close out each day.

• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: Four-day camps running 9:00 AM–2:30 PM on selected weeks in June and July 2024
• Price: Full four-day camp $325, with 10% member/PEF discount, $30 off per sibling, and per-day options from $100–$260

Each camp week runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with sessions offered June 17–20, June 24–27, July 8–11, July 15–18, and July 29–August 1. The program notes that no baseball experience is required but is recommended, and that camp can be refunded up to three weeks before the start of camp. Each player is asked to bring a glove, a baseball or softball bat, a reusable water bottle, cleats if they have them, and batting gloves if they have them.

The leadership team includes Baseball Camp Director Jared Milch, Assistant Director Rich Morales, assistant coaches Luke Zuromski and Brandon Rockmore, Softball Camp Director Mikayla Verni, and assistant coaches Gianna Tassio and Katie Ruegg. Jared Milch is a Terra Nova High School graduate whose pitching at CSM College held the lowest ERA in California for several weeks, who earned a Division 1 baseball scholarship to Stony Brook University, played in the Frontier League, and now serves as head varsity baseball coach at Terra Nova and an instructor at the Cages. Softball Camp Director Mikayla Verni was a four-year varsity starter at Christopher High School, a two-time second-team all-league honoree, plays for the College of San Mateo as a catcher and first baseman, coaches the PGSL Girls 12u team, and offers personalized hitting and catching lessons.

The facility is described as a premier indoor destination for baseball and softball, with a state-of-the-art setup that includes four hitting cages equipped with Hack Attack pitching machines and a team feeder with a capacity of 150 balls, along with dual pitching mounds and adjustable plates that allow pitching from 50 feet, 54 feet, or 60 feet 6 inches. The program is noted as a fundraiser for Terra Nova Baseball, and the organization lists Sponsorships and Community Events as site sections.
