Palm Desert Aquatic Center Swim Lessons & Programs offers group swim lessons, private swim lessons, and a Rec Swim Team, along with lap swimming and water exercise classes. Families also have access to water park features such as water slides, a splash playground, diving boards, a rope swing, a climbing wall, a water obstacle course, and a zero depth area, plus amenities like a birthday party room, cabanas, Float Zone, and Gladiator. Group swim lessons and Rec Swim Team are scheduled to return in early 2026 after the pump room renovation project is completed.

Palm Desert Aquatic Center Swim Lessons & Programs is owned by The City of Palm Desert and operated by the Family YMCA of the Desert, which also offers financial aid for swim lessons.
