Antelope Valley Twisters Gymnastics offers gymnastics classes led by nationally certified instructors. The program is a USAG professional member gym and focuses on gymnastics training with coaches who are described as a family, many of whom have coached there for decades and were also gymnasts at the gym, with most having participated on the competitive team. The first class is free for new participants.

Antelope Valley Twisters Gymnastics has over 40 years of gymnastics experience in the Antelope Valley. The gym states that it is committed to providing a safe and positive atmosphere and a healthy and nurturing environment for every child, and that it wants all participants to be able to train successfully in order to achieve their goals in a fair manner, no matter how challenging those goals may be. The mission also states that staff are devoted to teaching children life skills such as goal setting, discipline, focus, self-confidence, and perseverance through leading by example and using positive reinforcement, and that instructors will coach each child while enhancing and enriching their lives through participation in the sport of gymnastics.
The staff includes nationally certified instructors, USAG safety certified instructors, and CPR and first aid certified instructors. Each coach has completed all requirements to obtain a Professional membership from USA Gymnastics (USAG), including all educational courses, ongoing education, passing a background check with NCIS, and holding a safety certificate issued by USAG. Many coaches attend seminars and take extra classes to increase their knowledge base and professionalism.
